The New Yorker "Bound to Taiwan"
Dear Gusto fans,
Jason Mager, our friend, artist and more importantly fellow pizza lover has recently launched his new art exhibition "Bound to Taiwan." His work is an expression of Taiwans rich culture and history combined with his own personal experience in Taiwan. Check out 99dac.com and you'll get a flavour of what's to come.
Over the years Jason has shared his journey with us as he created his works displayed today at 99 Degree Art Center. He explained how he created different patterns and stamps blending in layers showing bits of taiwanese history, popular culture and bits of his own personality. It was an extremely long process especially in his boiling hot workshop. That's why he'd pop into Gusto for a cheeky margherita with extra cheese, but don't slice it. Make sure you check out the exhibition and explore the area for a fun day out.
Details of the exhibition below:
March 4 - March 26 2023
99 Degree Art Center
No. 286, Section 7, ChengDe Rd, Beitou District, Taipei City
